Our Trustees
We know some of you don't know us, but we'd like you to, so here's a bit of background of the people supporting the JCC school and orphanage

nicholas bailey
Nicholas is the chair of our board of directors and keeps us all on the straight and narrow. He chairs our board meetings efficiently and keeps us all on task, something we definitely need when we have such big dreams!
Nicholas has a background in risk management for insurance companies but now that he is retired, he keeps himself busy with golf and travel but mainly with making sure Lilomi is focused on its goals.

Lucinda Stephen
Lu is a clinical development expert with over 20 years of experience in both the academic and pharmaceutical industry, Lucinda is currently a Director of Oncology Operations for a top tier pharmaceutical company.
She is passionate about the development of people and the positive impact we can all make, she is an active member of community projects both professionally and personally. She enjoys cooking, mountain hiking, music festivals as well as spending time with her family and friends both here in Switzerland and her native home, London, UK.

miriam klinke
Miriam is a lawyer from Germany by profession where she was the equivalent of a District Judge and the mother of three beautiful children. She offers her time in her community whilst raising her three children and assisting her husband with his own business. She is a brilliant member of the team and often sees things that the rest of us miss!

Jo Chambers
For 17 years until 2021 Jo has been a trustee of a medium size charity which helps anyone who is in need where there is nowhere else to turn. For this charity she was on the Investment sub committee as well as the Committee of Management.
For 10 years she was a director of a managing company for a block of flats in central London.
She is currently one of nine conservators for a woodland and is the day to day contact for the woodland manager.
She has sat on various local committees including the local residents association and a ardens committee organising a number of local gardens to open to the public to raise money for local charities.

david holness
David is a UK 'Big 4' trained qualified accountant with over 25 years in senior finance roles in consulting, outsourcing and industry, principally in the high tech sector. At university he studied modern languages and during his career has lived for extended periods in Germany and Switzerland. Outside of work David enjoys travel - particularly to north America and southern Africa - and plays the piano. He lives in south west London where he is also treasurer of a local conservation group.
